Hanoi X Halong Bay Day 5&6: Bai Dinh Pagoda, Trang An, and S&L’s Diner

By Local Unnie

It was a cloudy day. A little rain drop fell along our tour. I made my Trang An tour reservation through Sinh Tourist at VND 669,000 per person. Trang An is an eco tourist attraction located in the East of Ninh Binh with area of 2000 ha. It is divided into 5 function parts: special protection area, the centre, caves area, service and travel area, Bai Dinh Pagoda.

At 7:45 am, we went to the Sinh Tourist Hanoi to depart for Ninh Binh. On our way we had a stop over to have a breakfast. Since we woke up early, we wanted to sleep but we were not able to sleep. Know why? Because there was a group of tourists who kept on talking and laughing out loud through out the whole travel via bus. Damn. In a public place, please keep the basic manners. Not asking for too much. Just the basic ones would be enough.

Going around the Buddha Prayer place in Bai Dinh Pagoda – the biggest pagoda in Vietnam with 500 La Han statues, biggest bronze Buddha statue in Vietnam 10 meter in height with 100 tons in weight, it was so humid.

Everything was really GOOD except for the noisy group of tourists. We were dropped off at the Hanoi City and had a dinner at S&L’s Diner. That ends the day before our departure to Incheon.

The day of departure has come and we had a mini date with Dasom unnie’s mom at the coffee shop.

IMG_7471Adios Hanoi! Adios Ha Long Bay! Adios Vietnam! Til next time! This trip is really a special one because it was the first ever out of country travel with my lil sister.
